Indo Easter Camp 2011 – K.T.P.
Posted by hopechurchindo in Uncategorized on April 27, 2011
Yap, as what the title said, we just experienced our very first and very own Hope Church Indo Group Easter Camp. Our Easter Camp was from 22 – 24 April, at Aloha Changi Resort.
Lots of fun, lots of games, and lots of activity.
The Four Competing Team with their own Flag

Don’t forget the feasting time as well, we had a nice BBQ prepared by our own in house chef under the moonlight

And finally before we depart from Aloha Changi, it’s a group photo time !!!!!

What an event, and what’re the lessons that have been learned during the camp? Let’s hear it from some of the participants.
Mendi – I learnt that God indeed ran towards sinful people who want to go back to Him. How I wish to love other regardless their awkward behavior like Christ’s love to hold us sinful child on His chest.
Robi – Dealing with a new people in a new group were quite awkward at first, but smoothly built up. The time spent staying in the same house, the discussions, the games and the activities, help a lot in gradually knowing one another better. When the bonding and teamwork grow, it brings trust to one another. It’s all about acceptance. Easter Camp definitely place an important foundation. Kia Kaha, HU!!!
Lili – I’ve learned that often in our daily life, in order to get/achieve what we want, we set out foot upon other people’s life, w/o realizing that it hurt them, or sometimes we choose to close our eyes……

Mission Trip 2010 – Part 2
Posted by hopechurchindo in Uncategorized on November 23, 2010
Ike
At the first time, when I was asked to join Cambodia mission trip, I felt excited but worried with my financial condition. I took some time to ask God about this trip, then my heart was convicted that I should go. After this trip, I could see that Cambodia’s environment is better than what I have in my mind before. From the children in orphanage, I can feel their spirit and ambition to make Cambodia into a better country. Overall, it’s a lifetime experience for me, rare and valuable, and it’s just a starting point to be involved more in God’s works. Thank God that He faithfully looks after me, while in Cambodia and after the trip. Sugi
