Topic yang pertama tentang “The Important of God’s Word”. Di mana kita di remind lagi about the function of God’s Word, di antara nya it gives life, purifies man, produces fruits and successes, shows truth and wisdom, hakim yang adil, dan it reveals God’s will. Wow….. wonderful….. gak ada kata kata yang secanggih ini, yang eternal and never change. Apa pun God’s Word yang tertulis dalam Bible semua nya akan tergenapi. So everything back to us. How much is our desire toward God’s Word. We will be enlarged by submitting our life to the authority of God’s Word. It mends to change our life. Come on….. allow God to work inside us and see our life transformation….!!!
Hal kedua yang dipelajari about “Symbol for God’s Word”. Benda benda di sekitar kita actually have the meaning for Word of God. Bagus juga si…… so itu bisa mengingatkan kita about God’s Word. Amen…… Misal nya seed (WOG memberikan kita power untuk bertumbuh spiritually), light (WOG memberikan kita direction and guidance), measuring stick / rod (WOG sebagai standard untuk decision making), goads and nails (WOG membantu kita untuk stand firm), anchor (WOG memberikan stability untuk gak gampang being shaken), sword (WOG help us to judge our heart’s motive), fire (WOG that can melt heart), hammer (WOG that can change life), food (WOG yang membantu pertumbuhan rohani kita untuk grow healthy), mirror (WOG that revealing power), and water (WOG that able to clean and purify us). Huehuhehuee…….. banyak banget kan simbol simbol nya. Masih mau yang lain? heuheuhe…… ^-^ Btw WOG itu kepanjangan nya adalah Word of God :p
Third lesson we learnt about “How does the Word of God Affect our Lives?”. Kita bisa lihat contoh contoh nya di bible about Word-Centred People seperti Adam, Nuh, Abraham, bangsa Israel, Daud, King Asa, the remnants, dan murid murid Yesus. Gimana mereka hidup closely with God, dan bagaimana Tuhan mempimpin hidup mereka step by step, and blessed them abundantly. Word of God really purifies, sustains, transforms, convicts, builds, produces fruit, guides / directs, keeps away from sin, gives joy, hope, light, peace, wisdom, understanding, life and freedom, strengthen, corrects wrong, and brings comfort.
Yang terakhir yang dipelajari dari Bible Conference minggu lalu adalah “The Authority of the Bible”. Bible mempunyai authority over man’s ideas, traditions and rituals, prominent person, signs and wonders, experiences and feelings, and surrounding situations. Pokok e Bible di atas segala gala nya Maka nya we need to back to the Word of God ^-^

Joni – Last week I just arrived in Singapore, and I felt very exhausted, it could be of too much traveling. However I found fresh when I arrived, it was because I saw the enthusiastic of the people around me. First I did not plan on coming to bible conference, but I just heard it from them (the tenants of Clementi 307). After about 2/3 days I had been asked to join then I just joined. I was surprised of the topic about Word Centered Church. I think from the first lesson until the end it really gave me new stuff to learn. About on not to lean on human ability but God’s strength. That is why from that night I started to think back what situation I were a year ago. Hence it comes with the decision whereby I need to trust in God more, because He always provides for His children, no matter how unfaithful His children would be. The points that I get is 2 Tim 3:16-17 on to me. Firstly, it rebukes me from what I was in my situation not to rely and trust on Him. Secondly, it purifies me from what I was when cannot control of emotion towards other people, and easy to get offended. And lastly, teach me hoe to continue to trust in Him not to fall on the sin again.
Sisy – Salah satu keinginan saya yang paling besar adalah untuk menjadi a word centred person. Dan saya tahu salah satu requirement untuk menjadi word centered person adalah kita harus bisa mendisiplinkan diri untuk membaca. Baik itu baca alkitab ato baca buku buku rohani..Tapi saya adalah seorang yang tidak suka membaca apalagi yang bacaannya tulisan semua alias nga ada gambarnya..Paling lama saya membaca itu setengah jam ato 10 halaman. Saya sangat mengucap syukur ama Tuhan..Minggu lalu saya baru aja attend bible conference yang temanya word centered church..Saya sebenernya uda mulai terdorong pada saat camp di Melaka untuk menjadi word centered person. And i can see how myself grow in His word this year. I began to read more christian books, spend more time in reading His word and start memorize verses. I even get my shepherd to memories verses together with me. Sebelom bible conference, saya mereflex balik kehidupan saya. Sepertinya kehidupan saya kurang fruitful. Saya bertanya kenapa Tuhan..sepertinya sangat susah perjalanan hidup saya. Banyak hal hal berat yang saya harus lewati baik itu dari segi kerjaan, ministry, relationship, dll. Segala sesuatu tidak se-smooth yang saya inginkan. And sering kali juga gue merasa minder and tidak satisfies akan diri sendiri. Gue jadi bingung kenapa gue kok malah jadi orang kristen yang ling lung, yang tidak berpendirian and juga not content with what i have. On the first day of the bible conference, one of the things that really speak me is “To be fruitful Christian is easy; it is when we put God’s word in the center of our life”. Yes!! It is that easy. If our conversion is only based on sign&wonder, following friends or the majority we do not lay a strong foundation in our spiritual walk with God. Sooner or later we’ll begin to see our christian walk is not as fruitful. We’ll start to wonder why am i not getting a good job as other people have, why am i not as knowledgeable as that person, why i was not care as much as other people..All this thought will just linger in your mind. And if we do not guard our thought carefully, it will harm us. Again this will actually link to our understanding about His word. Cause all the answer for the above questions are written inside the bible. And there are many verses that give an answer to the above question. His word is the source of our walk in Him. Let’s be deeply rooted in His word and do not allow negative or unhealthy thought rule and effect our life. Gue juga belajar 2 weapons that we have as a Christian is God’s word and prayer. Thus we need to utilise it fully. But how can we utilise if we do not master it. Bro and sis I am truly blessed by this bible conference. It is not only spur me on in reading His word but it also equip me with better understanding about knowing Him through His word. From this BC i began to discipline myself to read His word more regularly and consistently and also allow Him to speak to my life through His word. Psalms 119:105 – Your word is a lamp unto my feel and a light for my path.
